At Apogee Odessa, we are creating a one-room schoolhouse environment for children ages 5-12, with additional grade levels added each subsequent year. Our approach draws inspiration from the philosophies of Marie Montessori, Socratic dialogue, and Waldorf education. We believe in fostering a community where children learn both as individuals and in groups, discovering their unique talents and passions through individualized, hands-on projects.

In our school, learners engage in passion projects that are personalized to their interests, while we prioritize spending time in nature to enhance their holistic development. Group projects encourage collaboration, where older learners solidify their knowledge by mentoring younger students, taking on leadership roles in a "See One, Do One, Teach One" (SODOTO) style. This dynamic and nurturing environment empowers students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, guiding them toward becoming confident, self-directed learners.
